Feeling a little Spartan coming on....

Hello Fellow Spartan Mother's, sisters, brothers and Dad's recruit your friends and family
and lets make 2015 the best Spartan good time ever!

I am so excited to let everyone know my amazing son Dawson turning 8 years old in June will
be joining me in Spartan race on July 18th "Kids Version" of course but so amazing.

There is nothing better really feeling like you walk the walk, talk the talk and prove it. Actions speak louder than words so I encourage you to get out there and get dirty with your kids!
Make a memory to last a lifetime:)

Single Mom Moments

My Mom Moments...

I would like to give thanks to all the blessings in my life and most of all to the one who gives me life.... my son.

I was not always a single mom but since my son was 19 months the moments are plenty.
Its the little things you realize when you are parenting alone.
You are the only one who stays up all night with a sick baby, the only one who holds your breath as you try to let your baby cry it out to fall asleep, the only one who prays they have the strength to make it through the first of many time outs.  My moments of privacy only happen when he is asleep but you learn to savor and appreciate all the time you have. You are also the one your child calls to,  reaches for and gives unconditional love to in so many ways. My little life with my little man is filled with LOTS of love.

There are so many single mom's with much more than just one child with little to no help and it is the undeniable strength they have that remind me I am so truly blessed and fortunate.

Every parent has challenges they face and my intention for this post is to remind us all that no matter what the circumstance may be "be great full" for those who call us "Mom".

In that I would also like to remind my mom who just happened to be the "single mom" who raised me and my two sisters and always made us feel loved. Thank you Mom.

Much Love
